“Welcoming next to the stage we have Rae on Trapeze. Rae’s aerial lineage is rooted in the movement theory from Canopy Studio in Athens, GA. Over the last decade, she has trained and taught from coast to coast. Their practice and creative process has embodied a magnitude of improvisation and exploration. They firmly believe in bridging pathways between bodies and the apparatus, and she thrives when able to contribute to fostering accessibility to aerial and self expression through movement.

SPIN is for folx interested in the mechanics and manipulation of spinning with the dance trapeze. We will review spinning from different anchor origins and points of contact.
Prerequisites: must have some aerial experience and be able to move through a 60 second sequence comfortably

WEAVE guides the student in threading in, on, and around the trapeze. We will move through different planes on and around the bar and retrace our steps. This workshop is for folx who are interested in establishing a connection with unconventional pathways and unlocking their potential.
