Rae is an insured aerialist who offers private lessons, multi-person private lessons, online private lessons, workshops, and performances. Rae teaches Level II Lyra every Tuesday night, Level II Trapeze every Wednesday night, and Dance Trapeze Choreography every Wednesday night at Denver Circus Collective. Private Lesson - Single Person

1 hour

Rae is available for Dance Trapeze and Lyra instruction. Rae shares their knowledge in dance trapeze for all levels. For Lyra, Rae offers beginner and intermediate instruction.

Private Lesson - Multi Person

1 hour

Rae is available for Dance Trapeze and Lyra. This is an option to share private lesson time with another student. We will use one rigging point during this lesson.

P I L L A R S

This 90 minute workshop is for folx who are interested in exploring the rope realm of their dance trapeze. Be ready to move through vertical sequencing in the ropes as we get tangled up in the higher realm on the dance trapeze

Prerequisites: level 2+; this sequencing involves inverting in the air

W E A V E

This 90 minute workshop guides the student in threading in, on, and around the trapeze. We will move through different planes on and around the bar and retrace our steps. This workshop is for folx who are interested in establishing a connection with unconventional pathways and unlocking their potential.

Prerequisites - must have some aerial experience and be able to move through a 60 second sequence comfortably

F L U X - Movement

"the action or process of flowing or flowing out"

Students are encouraged to participate with an open mind. This workshop uses Laban movement theory prompts and exercises to guide the student through their movement and connection to the dance trapeze. Be ready to explore and unlock your authentic artistry.

Prerequisites: must have some aerial experience and be able to move through a 60 second sequence comfortably

F L U X - Floor

"the action or process of flowing or flowing out"

This workshop is focused on moving through the space between the floor and the bar. Students are guided through floor-to-bar mechanics and encouraged to explore movement possibilities of this realm.

Prerequisites: must have some aerial experience and be able to move through a 60 second sequence comfortably

S P I N: 101

This 90 minute workshop is for folx interested in the foundations of the mechanics and manipulation of spinning with the dance trapeze. We will review spin theory and explore beginner friendly spinning from different anchor origins and points of contact.

Prerequisites: must have some aerial experience and be able to move through a 60 second sequence comfortably

SPIN: SLEUTH

This 90 minute workshop is for folx interested in building on an already solid spin foundation. We will examine flares, elbow spins, and lifting through a center spin. This workshop is for the experienced spinner.
